How to Replace the Cabin Blower Resistor on BMW 5 Series

Replace the blower resistor on a BMW 5 Series? Remove the cover plastics under the dashboard. Here's how to do it. Pry off the plastic under the front windshield, then unscrew the cover. Remove the cover drawer on the right side of the dashboard, and unscrew all the securing screws. Locate and disconnect the large connector of the resistor, then pull it out from the cabin. Insert a new blower resistor (connect the power connector). Finally, reinstall the cover and tighten the screws. Check the proper installation of the previously mounted parts and test their correct operation. Remove all dashboard plastics to access the blower if it is damaged.
