How to Remove the Headlight Bulbs on a BMW X3

Let's see how to replace the headlight bulbs on a BMW X3. Open and lift the hood of the engine compartment. Locate the inspection cap of the headlight (located at the back of the headlight) and remove it. Once you have removed the cover cap, pull the bulb holder out of the headlight and extract the damaged bulb using a screwdriver if it is difficult. Install the new bulbs: connect the ballasts if installing xenon. Test the operation of the headlight bulbs: turn on the lights using the control knob on the dashboard.
