Let's see how to remove the cover panel of the door on a BMW X5. Remove the plastic cover above the internal handle using a pry tool: unscrew the fastening screws located in the plastic handle. Remove the frame around the door opening lever to access the panel. Once all screws and plastic clips that secure the door are removed, pull the door panel away with your hands, disconnect any electrical connectors and release cables. Install a new panel (if damaged) or remove the components inside the door.
