This guide shows how to remove and replace the front headlight bulb on a first series BMW 1 Series, following these simple steps. First, open and lift the bonnet of your car; then remove the plastic protective cover of the bulbs and disconnect the electrical connector. At this point, release the metal clip to extract the dipped beam bulb; simply replace it with a new one of the correct type (in this case, an H7 fitting), and reassemble everything by reversing the procedure!
