EGR Valve Thermostat Replacement

Model: BMW Serie 5 E61, E60 - Years 2003-2010
Part: Thermostat

Open the hood and locate the EGR valve near the front grille. The thermostat is on an aluminum hose that needs to be removed. Remove the two hose clamps on the duct to completely take out the adjustment sensor. Remove the thermostat using a wrench by taking off the two side nuts. Disconnect the various hoses to access the thermostat and proceed with its removal. Install the new thermostat and reassemble the various components that were previously removed. Reconnect the air hose and perform a functionality test.
