This short video tutorial explains how to reset the engine oil warning light in our BMW Z4 E89 (the procedure is the same also for similar models, such as 128i, 135i, 328i, 335i, X5). If when turning the key and turning on the dial, the engine oil light stays solid, there is probably a problem with the engine oil level, which may be too low. If after the necessary checks no anomaly is diagnosed and you want to reset the warning light, simply use the black button on the left on the dial and the controls on the left on the steering wheel (up and down arrows and bc button). Press and hold the black button on the dial, then click on the oil level symbol and hold down the bc button on the "reset" item. After a few seconds, everything should be fixed!
