Replacing the Screen and Radio Controls on BMW 3 Series

Model: BMW Serie 3 F30, F31 - Years 2012-2019

Using a plastic trim tool, pry in the gaps to remove the lower panel of the center dashboard. Similarly, detach the large plastic piece containing the center air vents (disconnect its connector). If you want to replace the radio controls, remove the two exposed Torx screws above them, then the two screws located below. If you are only interested in replacing the screen, there are two additional Torx screws to remove in the area where the vents were: these secure the screen, so once removed, you can pull it out.
