Before you can start, open the front door of your BMW 3 Series. Begin by prying and removing the center insert of the door panel using a thin but sturdy plastic tool.

This will expose the screws that secure the door panel. Next, unscrew and remove these screws.

At this point, release the internal clips that hold the door panel to the door itself, then disconnect the connectors attached to the window switch, and you will have successfully completed the removal.
