This guide shows how to remove the climate control panel from the BMW X5 E53, produced from 1999 to 2006. Using a screwdriver or a lever, disconnect the two metal clips located on either side of the climate control module. At this point, you can pull the module out of the recess and disconnect the connectors. To install the new part, after reconnecting the connectors, push it gently into the housing. To ensure the new climate control system functions, it needs to be coded through programming. The tools used for this operation are a screwdriver or a lever.
