How to Replace the Infotainment Display in a BMW X4

Model: BMW X4 MK 1, F26 - Years 2014-2018

Before you begin, sit in the driver's seat of your BMW X4. Start by prying out and removing the center air vents, then remove the buttons and disconnect the various electrical connectors. Next, unscrew and remove the screws that secure the display to the center console. This will give you access to the infotainment display. Proceed by pulling the display out of its housing, then disconnect the corresponding electrical connectors, and you will have completed the disassembly. To install the new infotainment display, simply reverse this procedure, and you will have finished the replacement.
