How to Reset the Transmission on BMW X5 E70?

This very short video clearly shows the procedure to attempt to reset the transmission of your BMW X5 E70. The author clearly states that this is an attempt to try to solve any transmission issues on your own. If it does not work, you will need to consult a shop to address any mechanical problems. The unlocking procedure is very simple: insert the key and without pressing any pedals, press the ignition button once to turn on the instrument cluster. At this point, press the accelerator pedal all the way down for at least 30 seconds. After 30 seconds, release the pedal, press the ignition button again, and remove the key. Try to start the engine, and you should have resolved the issue.
