Model: BMW Serie 3
E46
- Years 1998-2006 In this video we will see the instructions that will allow us to disassemble and replace the coolant temperature sensor on a BMW 3 Series E46 318i. First we open the bonnet of our car and start by removing the plastic upper part, removing the air filter; after which we use a torx screwdriver to unscrew the screws of the bulkhead that we find below, as shown in the video. At this point we disconnect the electrical connector of the mass air flow sensor and the depressor tube; we remove the filter box and the intake hoses and unscrew our coolant sensor, then disconnecting the electrical connector. Let's replace it with the new one and reassemble everything!
