How to Remove the Radio Display from a BMW 3 Series

Before you begin, sit in the driver's seat of your BMW 3 Series. Start by prying out and removing the center insert of the dashboard along with the air vents, then disconnect the electrical connector.

Next, remove the screws securing the climate control buttons, then pull out the button panel and disconnect the electrical connectors. After that, remove the screws that secure the radio display to the dashboard.

At this point, pull the display base from its housing, and finally disconnect the electrical connectors. Once you complete this step, you will have finished the disassembly.
