Let's discover in this short and simple guide how to disassemble and replace the battery of the remote key on the BMW X3 F25, as well as on the X5 and X6. First, take your remote and remove the physical key found inside the remote; then pry open the sides of the remote to remove the back cover and access the battery, as shown in the video. At this point, remove the battery and replace it with a new one of the correct type (in this case, a CR 2450); insert it in the correct direction and reassemble the cover and the remote key!
