Faulty Electrical Connection of the AC Pump

Model: BMW Serie 3 E90, E92, E91 - Years 2005-2013
Part: Air conditioning

If during the summer, while using the air conditioning more frequently, you notice abnormal operation of the AC pump, such as it turning on and off suddenly, the first thing to check is the electrical connection. Locate the AC pump as shown in the video and the corresponding connector that supplies power to the pump. The pump on the pulley side has a magnet that, upon receiving the electrical impulse, engages the pulley with the belt drive and vice versa. To check if the connector might be loose, start the engine and turn on the AC switch. Now, gently touch and move the connector while being very careful of any rotating or moving parts (belts, pulleys, etc.) to see if the magnet receives the impulse, engaging or disengaging the pulley from the belt.

How to Remove the CV Boot on Fiat Panda

Let’s see how to remove the boot from the joint on a Fiat Panda. After positioning your car on a column lift: raise it to a comfortable height to work on, loosen the wheel nuts (using a socket wrench or air drill) and remove the wheel. Begin unscrewing the brake disc bolts with a socket wrench. Remove the bolts located under the disc and completely detach the wheel hub. Pull the arm around the joint with your hands. Fit the new boot (after removing the old one) onto the constant velocity joint, then start reassembling all the parts in reverse order.
