How to Replace the Fuel Filter on a BMW X5?

To replace the fuel filter on a BMW X5, access the underside of the vehicle near the driver's seat. Loosen the 8 mm and 10 mm bolts that secure the plate in this position. After removing the protective plate, unscrew the bolts that hold the center panel, under which the fuel filter is located. Disconnect the lines and loosen the mounting bolts to remove the filter from its housing. Then, position the new replacement part in its housing, secure it with the appropriate bolts, and reconnect the hoses.
