How to Remove the Plastic Door Trim Panel

Model: BMW Serie 5 E39 - Years 1995-2003
Part: Body

This guide shows how to remove the plastic trim panel from a car door. Be careful when removing the panel as it is fragile and can be damaged. Essentially, the operation involves loosening the plastic adhesive under the trim. If done carefully, you will not risk damaging the bodywork. You can use a heat gun for this or do it by hand. Gently lift the trim and slide it from one end to the other, then pull it completely away from the vehicle.
