Replacing the ABS Speed Sensor

Model: BMW Serie 5 E39 - Years 1995-2003
Part: Control unit

The ABS control unit speed sensor is located at the wheel, right behind the hub, and is secured with a 5 mm Allen bolt. To replace it, lift the vehicle with a jack, remove the front wheel, and access the sensor's mounting bolt. Once the bolt is removed, pull the sensor from its housing and free the wiring from the grommet where a connector is located, along with the brake wear sensor connector; then disconnect this connector and attach the new sensor, properly positioning the wires and securing the sensor by tightening the corresponding bolt.

How to Open the Key Battery of a Volkswagen Golf 7

How do you open the key fob of a Volkswagen Golf Series 7? Take your key fob and press the release button of the metal key; once the metal key pops out, use a screwdriver to pry between the two halves of the key fob (in the space where the metal key fits). Pry until the cover opens, then extract the worn battery with a small screwdriver. Get a new battery of the same size and voltage. Join the two parts: press the key fob case until you hear it click into place. Check the proper functioning of the key fob by operating the buttons.
