How to change a BMW key battery

To replace the battery of a BMW remote control key, it is necessary to proceed as follows: take the key and extract the emergency key by pressing the button located on the side of the key, then use the same emergency key to do lever and open the remote control. Once the cover of the remote control has been removed, you have access to the compartment that contains the battery. Identify the type of battery and replace it with a new one, be careful to always place the battery with the positive pole facing upwards. Finally, close the door of the remote control and put the emergency key back inside.
