Replacing the battery in a BMW R1200 GS ADVENTURE is a very simple task that can be done independently, aided by our video tutorial that will guide you through the steps to remove the motorcycle battery. The battery we will install is a YUASA TTX14-BS (12V 12.6AH 200A) AGM. Start the replacement procedure by removing the panel covering the battery compartment with an 8mm Torx key. Once the panel is removed, use a 10mm key to disconnect the negative terminal of the battery, then extract the battery and use the same key to remove the positive terminal. Continue the procedure by cleaning the compartment and then install the new battery. Begin by connecting the positive terminal first and inserting it into its housing, followed by connecting the negative terminal using the 10mm key. Refit the panel.
