In this tutorial, you will learn how to reset the brake service light on a BMW X1, an operation to be performed only after replacing all worn brake pads. First, insert the key and turn on the instrument cluster, not the engine.

Then, press and hold the button located on the left side of the instrument cluster until the maintenance menu appears on the display. Next, scroll through the various available services with quick presses of the same button, and once you reach the one related to the brake pads, press and hold it twice to complete the reset.
