Instructions for Removing the Expansion Tank

Model: BMW Serie 5 E39 - Years 1995-2003
Part: Radiator

First, perform the removal of the coolant expansion tank with the engine cold for obvious reasons. Start by removing the gasket around the edge of the plastic cover of the cooling fan, then take off the cover by extracting the push clips: one of the clips also secures the tank. Once the plastic cover is removed, unscrew the clamp of the recovery hose connected to the radiator and pull it out. Next, unscrew the plastic screw near the cap of the tank and remove it along with the recovery hose after disconnecting the tube at the bottom.

How to Replace the Fuel Filter on Opel Astra

How do you replace the fuel filter on Opel Astra? Let's see the replacement: lift the car with a column lift (jack) and secure it. Remove the locking plate of the filter using a socket spanner (undo the securing bolts next to the plate) where it is located and disconnect the wires and various hoses from the filter. Extract the diesel filter and replace it with a new one. Finally, reassemble the diesel filter housing (connect the hoses and wires) and tighten the bolts to the metal plate (as shown in the video). Lower the car after the replacement.
