To replace the side mirror on a BMW 3 Series, first remove the trim pieces located on the door panel, the outer part of the armrest, and below the window switch panel. Once these two trim pieces are removed, you can loosen the screws underneath and completely remove the panel, gaining access to the components at the bottom.

Here, you will find the screws that secure the side mirror from the inside, which need to be loosened to fully remove the mirror; after removal, you can install the new one and reassemble all the previously removed components.
