How to Reset the Service Light on a BMW X5

Model: BMW X5 E53 - Years 1999-2006

If the service light suddenly appears on your dashboard, don't worry; it can be easily cleared in a few seconds using the designated button. First, make sure the vehicle is turned off, then locate the small "reset" button between the fuel gauge and the speedometer. Press and hold it for a few seconds, then insert the key and turn it to the first position. As soon as the message "Reset Sia" appears on the display, release the button and then press and hold it again. Release it as soon as the word "reset" starts to blink, and press the button one last time. The reset is complete, and you can turn off the ignition.
