How to Remove the Door Trim of a 2001 BMW 520d

As shown in the video, the first thing to do to remove the trim on a 2001 BMW 520d is to remove the black trim from its housing. Do the same with the handle trim. Remove the two retaining screws. Pull the door panel out with a light pressure outward and upward. While holding the door, disconnect the connectors as shown in the video. Unscrew the screws holding the window control unit and remove the worn trim from its housing. For the control unit, you need to unscrew the three screws and replace it with the new one. Reassemble everything by reversing the steps.
