In this brief video tutorial, learn how to reset the maintenance light on a BMW X5, model produced from 2013 to 2018. This procedure should be done each time after changing the oil and its corresponding filter. First, turn on the vehicle's ignition without starting the engine. Now, press and hold the button on the left side of the speedometer until the display shows the remaining engine oil life warning. Once this appears, release the button and press it again until the reset request appears. Then, release the button and press it one last time to complete the reset.
