Replacing Car Window Switch

Model: BMW Serie 3 E46 - Years 1998-2006

The following guide explains how to perform this simple operation in a few steps, so you don’t have to take the car to the mechanic and save some money. Use a medium-small flathead screwdriver to pry at the corners of the switch panel, being careful not to apply too much force to avoid damaging the plastic inside the switch panel. At some point, the switch panel will come out on its own. Once removed from its housing, disconnect the wire connector by simply pulling it towards you. Clean the connection and reconnect the wires so you can use the new switch panel.
