How to Replace the Fuel Filter on BMW "5 Series" 520 I

In this video tutorial, you can see how to replace the fuel filter on a BMW "5 Series" 520 I: the first thing to do is order a fuel filter from an authorized dealer (if you have a diesel engine, you need to order a diesel filter; if you have a gasoline engine, you will need a gasoline filter). Open the fuel tank cap, lift the car using a jack, and place safety stands under the vehicle. Using a 10 mm socket wrench, remove the fasteners of the underbody cover panel, then use an 8 mm socket wrench to remove the underbody cover; have a container ready to collect fluids; with a 5 mm socket wrench, remove the fasteners connecting the fuel supply line to the filter box; the next step is to disconnect the fuel lines. Use a H5 HEX wrench to loosen the fastener of the fuel filter; at this point, you can remove the old fuel filter and place the cartridge inside the container. Position the new fuel filter in place and reassemble the parts in reverse order.
