How to Replace the Front Brake Pads on a BMW 5 Series

To replace the front brake pads on a BMW 5 Series, lift the vehicle so that the corresponding wheels are off the ground. Once lifted, loosen the bolts securing the wheel, remove it, and access the components behind it. After removing the wheel, loosen the screws holding the brake caliper, detach it from the brake rotor, and slide out the pads inside. After removal, reinstall all disassembled parts.
