Removing the Seat Adjustment Control Cover

Model: BMW Serie 3 E46 - Years 1998-2006

If you need to remove the side trim cover of the driver's seat, where the controls for the electric seat adjustment are located, first remove the seat from the cabin to make the operation easier. Once the seat is removed, locate the plastic tabs that secure the side cover to the seat. Disconnect the tabs, then remove the rear mounting screw and pull the cover away from its position to disconnect the power supply. Finally, you can detach the control panel from the cover.
