In this guide, you will find instructions to reset the engine fault light on the BMW 5 Series, as well as on all other models from the manufacturer. To reset the engine light from the instrument cluster, you need to connect a diagnostic tool to the OBD port of your car. By communicating with the ECU using the software, you can follow the guided procedure to reset the engine light, as shown in the video.

At this point, turn off the instrument cluster and start the engine, checking that the light has been reset!
