At the center of the intake manifold is a throttle valve mounted on a rectangular plastic box-shaped support; it is quite common for the throttle control mechanism to break, but it is also easy to find a replacement; disassembling this valve is very simple as you only need to remove the two mounting bolts and disconnect the actuator power connector; once the bolts are removed, pull the throttle out of its seat, taking care not to damage the sealing gasket.
