Part: Seat
Operation: How to disassemble a BMW M Sport seat

In this video tutorial we can see how to disassemble the seat of the BmW M sport. The first thing to do is to unscrew the screw that holds the plastic on the side of the seat with a 20 torx. Next step you have to fold the seat and with a small size screwdriver, you have to leverage the handles to pull them; once the handles have been removed, to unlock the aluminum block, you must take a flat screwdriver and help yourself with a hammer. Now the plastic rises and then you have to detach the cable. To remove the bulkhead you have to use an Allen key, so you enter from underneath and press on the lever to release it. Now you have to release the straps, use a 20 torx to remove the covers. Now open the inflatable cushion and pull the fabric. Once all the plastics have been removed, it will be possible to lift the seat from its seat.

Handbrake adjustment on Ford Ecosport

First remove the plastic profile at the base of the gear lever. To do this, slightly widen the side edges and carefully lift it to release it. There is no need to remove it completely, just move it forward to avoid bother. Now remove the plastic center console around the handbrake by first working from the rear to release it and lifting it until the brake lever passes. Also in this case it is not necessary to remove it completely but, paying attention to the connected cables, it can be stowed in front of the passenger seat. At this point we notice that at the base of the handbrake lever, on the front, we find a nut. By acting on it, with a 10 wrench, we can adjust the brake force, increasing it by turning the nut clockwise, or decreasing it by turning it counterclockwise. Once adjusted, the center console can be repositioned first, pressing lightly to engage it, and then the profile of the gearbox base.
