To change the air filter on your BMW 3 Series E92 (2005-2013), it only takes a few seconds. First, park the car safely and turn it off completely. Once the engine has cooled down sufficiently, lift the hood and locate the air filter box at the top. Next, unscrew the various screws around the cover of the box and then remove the cover. Finally, replace the old filter with the new one, and the procedure is complete.
