Operation: How to reset the BMW 1 Series F40 oil light

If when you start your BMW 1 Series F40 (year 2019-2023) you notice that the oil warning light on the instrument panel stays on even though the oil has already been changed, you must proceed with the following manual reset. First, insert the key and press the power button three consecutive times to enter diagnostic mode. Immediately afterwards, press and hold the "BC" button located at the end of the left-hand stalk for a few seconds. Release it as soon as you see the oil warning light on the mini display and hold it down again until the reset is complete.

How do you replace the battery of the BMW R 1250 GS?

In order to replace the battery of the BMW R 1250 GS it is necessary to loosen the bolts that secure the casing positioned on the left side of the bike, so that its cover can be removed. Once this has been removed, you will be able to access the components below, including the battery. The latter must be removed from its housing by disconnecting the power cables and unscrewing the appropriate fixing bolts. In this way it will be possible to insert a new battery, properly fixing it and connecting it to the relative cables, covering everything with the casing.
