How to Reset Maintenance Warnings on BMW 1 Series F40

Model: BMW Serie 1 MK 3, F40 - Years 2019-2026

In this video, you can see how to reset the maintenance service light on a BMW 1 Series F40: get in the car and close all the doors. Insert the key into the ignition, or keep it in the car if it's Keyless. Press the "start" button to activate the instrument cluster three times in quick succession. After the third click, the message "diagnostic mode activated" will appear on the onboard computer screen. Locate the "BC" button on your indicator stalk (BC = Board Computer) and hold it down for a few seconds. You will enter a menu with various options such as "engine oil", "brakes", "vehicle check". Scroll through the options using the "BC" button, and when you reach the one you want to reset, press and hold the button for 3 to 4 seconds. The message "Reset?" will appear on the screen; select yes and wait for the message "reset successful" to appear. Turn off the ignition and restart the car normally.
