How to Reset the Oil Light on a 2021 BMW X3

To manually reset the engine oil light on the instrument cluster of your 2021 BMW X3, follow the steps outlined in this guide. First, enter the cabin and turn on the ignition by pressing the appropriate button three times in quick succession to enter diagnostic mode. Next, navigate through the menu until you see the total mileage. At this point, press and hold the button located at the end of the left lever on the steering wheel for about 15-20 seconds. Once the oil life indicator appears on the display, release the button and press and hold it again until the oil light reset is complete.
