How to Remove the Instrument Cluster from the BMW 3 Series 320d E90

This guide shows how to remove the instrument cluster from the BMW 3 Series 320d E90. First, lower and fully extend the steering wheel. Next, using a T10 Torx screwdriver, remove the two screws located at the top of the instrument cluster. Pry the top of the cluster to rotate it downward and pull it out slightly; turn it sideways to disconnect the control electrical cables. The connector has a lever that must be fully pressed down for disconnection. At this point, you can remove the instrument cluster.
