The guide shows how to remove the instrument cluster from the BMW 3 Series 320d e90. The first operation to perform is to fully lower and extend the steering wheel. At this point, using a Torx T10 screwdriver, unscrew the two fastening screws located on the upper part of the instrument panel. Leverage the top of the panel to rotate it downwards and pull it out slightly; turn it sideways to be able to disconnect the electric control cables. The connector has a lever that must be pulled all the way down for disconnection. At this point it is possible to remove the instrument cluster.
