To replace the battery in a BMW 3 Series, open the trunk of the car to access the internal components of the cargo area. On the right side, there will be a cover that needs to be removed to access the components underneath. Here, you will find the battery that must be disconnected to loosen its mounting screws; this will allow you to remove the battery from its housing and replace it with a new one. After the replacement, reinstall the plastic covers that were removed earlier.
