Instructions for Replacing the Contact Switch

The contact switch is located just behind the ignition key cylinder. To access it, first remove the protective covers of the light switch controls.

Once the covers are removed, adjust the steering wheel (electric adjustment system) all the way down and out to increase maneuvering space. You can then comfortably access the switch and disconnect the plugs before unscrewing the corresponding mounting screws.

Damage to this component is quite common, especially if there are frequent starts: the sliding contacts tend to wear out.

How to Reset the Tyre Pressure Warning Light on the Jeep Renegade?

To reset the tyre pressure warning light on the Jeep Renegade, inflate the tyres until they reach the recommended pressure: this value is indicated on the sticker attached to the driver’s door pillar. Once the tyres are properly inflated, navigate through the menu that appears on the instrument cluster until you find the tyre pressure option. At this point, press and hold the OK button on the right side of the steering wheel to make the warning light disappear.
