How to Replace the Outer Handle on a BMW 3 Series?

To replace the outer handle on a BMW 3 Series, open the door and remove the circular cover located on the side of the door. Once the cover is removed, loosen the screw underneath, and the outer handle can be freed from its housing. After the handle is removed and disconnected, connect the new one to its place by inserting it into the corresponding housing. Finally, secure the handle with the appropriate screw on the side of the door.
