In order to replace the external handle of the BMW 3 Series, it is necessary to open the door and remove the circular cover located on the side of the door: once this cover has been removed, it will be possible to loosen the underlying screw and the external handle can thus be freed from its housing. After the handle has been removed and disconnected, it will be possible to connect the new one to its seat, inserting it inside its housing; finally, the handle can be fixed with the special screw on the side of the door.
