Operation: How do you replace the external handle of the BMW 3 Series?

In order to replace the external handle of the BMW 3 Series, you need to first remove the door panel, accessing the components underneath it: the screws that fix the panel are located in the seat of the internal handle and under the armrest. Once the panel has been removed, it will be possible to unscrew the screws on the side of the door, so that the internal mechanism of the handle can be released: this will allow the handle to be detached from the outside of the door, replacing it with a new one. After the replacement, all previously removed components can be reassembled.
