How to Replace the Exterior Door Handle on the BMW 3 Series

To replace the exterior door handle on the BMW 3 Series, first remove the door panel to access the components underneath: the screws securing the panel are located at the handle and under the armrest. Once the panel is removed, you can unscrew the bolts on the side of the door, allowing the internal mechanism of the handle to be released: this will enable you to detach the handle from the exterior of the door and replace it with a new one. After the replacement, reassemble all the components that were previously removed.
