How to Reset the Brake Wear Light on a BMW 3 Series?

To reset the brake wear light on a BMW 3 Series, turn on the ignition so you can navigate through the menu on the onboard computer. Use the button located at the end of the left lever on the steering wheel to scroll through the menu. Once the icon indicating the remaining kilometers until brake pad replacement appears, press and hold the button for a few seconds to reset the light. To verify that the reset was successful, turn off and then turn on the ignition again.
