How to replace the instrument cluster LEDs in the BMW "1 Series".

In this video tutorial, we can see how it is possible to replace the LEDs of the instrument panel of the BMW "Series 1". The first thing to do is to get inside the car and engage the handbrake. The next step is to lower the steering wheel, and then, using a 2-torx key, remove the screws that are on the dashboard above the instrument panel. Once the screws are removed, insert a small flathead screwdriver into the slot and pull the instrument panel towards you. Then, we need to disconnect the connector that is located behind the instrument panel (we need to press and pull down the lever). Now we need to pull out our instrument panel and then remove the hands by levering them with a spoon, taking care not to damage the dials. Remove the dials by removing the hooks, remove the plastic plates, and now we can replace the LEDs.
