How to remove the steering wheel from the BMW 1 Series

Today we will explain how to remove the steering wheel of the BMW 1 Series. Before performing this operation, we must disconnect the vehicle's battery. We insert a flat-tip screwdriver into the side hole to activate the unlocking mechanism of the central body of the steering wheel containing the airbag. Disconnect the airbag connector to remove the central body. And using a wrench, unscrew the central nut on the steering wheel to remove it. Also, remove the upper cover of the steering wheel using a small star screwdriver to unscrew the locking screws.
