How to remove the airbag of the BMW 1 Series

The steps for removing the airbag of a BMW 1 Series car are the same for all BMW models. The steps to be followed are: -disconnect the car battery to prevent the system from activating during removal; -insert a flat-tipped screwdriver into the holes on the steering wheel to push the internal lever of the mechanism; -remove the central body and disconnect the airbag; After completing these three steps, you will have completely removed the steering wheel airbag, the installation of which follows the same three steps but in reverse. Start the car before hitting the road to ensure that the airbag has been correctly installed.
