This guide provides the main instructions for adjusting and synchronising the BMW 1 Series engine. First, open the bonnet and start to dismantle and remove the air filter box and the intake hose; then unscrew the fixing screws of the valve cover to remove it, as shown in the video. At this point, proceed with the valve adjustment, following the instructions in the manual; check the condition of the timing and use a torque wrench to align and synchronise the engine, following the indications in the video!
