How to Reset the Service Light on BMW 5 Series E39

To manually reset the service light on the instrument cluster of your BMW 5 Series E39 (model year 1995-2003), follow the steps outlined in this guide. First, get inside the car and insert the key. Turn it to the first position and start the ignition. At this point, press and hold the button located on the lower left side of the cluster. Once the new menu appears, release the button and press it again. Repeat this operation one last time to complete the reset of the light, and you're done.
