How to Put a BMW with Automatic Gearbox into Neutral in an Emergency

In this video, learn how to put a BMW with an automatic gearbox into neutral in case of engine or battery issues and you cannot shift the lever to "N". What we see in the video is the system to do it manually: with a small screwdriver, lever on the left side of the gear lever gaiter plate to lift it. Turn the screw located at the side of the lever horizontally; this will free access to a lever. Insert the tip of the screwdriver into the hole next to it and pull down this lever, which will be locked in the next position. Now the gearbox is in position N.
