How to Replace the Fuel Filter on a BMW 3 Series

In this video tutorial, you can see how to replace the fuel filter on a BMW 3 Series. The first step is to purchase a new fuel filter from an authorized dealer. The filter is located roughly under the driver's front seat. Lift the car with a hydraulic jack and place safety stands. Using a 10 mm wrench, remove the 10 mm nut, which is the only nut to remove, as the rear has two hooks that are inserted into the frame; pull away the part that supports the filter, then there is the hose coming from the fuel tank held by clamps; you need to remove these clamps and take off the hose. To prevent a lot of gasoline from spilling out of the hose, you can use a pair of pliers to clamp the rubber hose. Once the front clamp is removed, you can take out the fuel filter and replace it with the new one (check the fuel flow arrow).
